The Fluvanna SPCA is currently accepting nominations for candidates to join our volunteer Board of Directors to help lead in 2019 and beyond! 

Attention, all leaders who love animals: your skills and expertise can help save lives! Fluvanna SPCA, a no-kill, nonprofit animal shelter in Troy, VA, is seeking nominations for candidates in order to expand its Board of Directors for 2019 and beyond.

Serving as an FSPCA Board Member is an extraordinary opportunity for someone with a track record of leadership who is passionate about the organization’s life-saving mission.

Selected Board Members will have achieved leadership stature in business, government, philanthropy, and/or the nonprofit sector, having developed experience and expertise in one or more of the following areas: nonprofit governance, fundraising, investment, animal law, animal shelter medicine, volunteer recruitment & retention, community engagement, marketing, and event coordination.

Candidates must be able to certify they have not been charged with animal cruelty. Service on the Fluvanna SPCA’s Board of Directors is without remuneration.
